The Old Canal Loop, Medina, N.Y. [front caption printed in red ink]
Description
A hand-colored postcard with an aerial view of Medina, N.Y. On the right bank of a canal that bends to the left is a collection of houses and factories or warehouses in the foreground and center of the card. There are working smokestacks dotted around the landscape, and in the distance the scene becomes more rural with hills on the horizon, with a large factory in the upper right side of the card in the more rural background. Across the bridge, the left bank is sparsely populated and looks industrial. Two horse drawn carts can be seen heading away from the canal. Underneath the bridge against the right bank are three empty canal boats.
