Scene of Erie Canal, Port Byron, N.Y. On the right side of the canal, there is a mountain and townhouses. Behind the houses, there is a road leading to a bridge where two people are standing. In the left bank of the canal, there are more houses and a towpath where animals [presumably horses] are walking. In the middle of the postcard, we can see two men standing on a canal boat. There are also some bold black lines which appear on the roof of some houses, on the front of the canal boat and along the towpath[presumably they were added manually].
