Black & white photograph of a dam presumed to be the Five Combines of the Black River Canal of Boonville, N.Y. Wildflowers and shrubs are prominently featured in the foreground. A diagonal river separates the foreground from the sloping tree covered hills in the background. There are two towpaths on both sides of the river, two horseback riders follow the path on the right. The dam is to the left of the riders, the combines are behind them.
