A trade card etched in blue-green and brown ink. The card depicts a pool surrounded by columns and trees. Edmund Sagot opened a Paris bookshop in 1881, dealing in rare and contemporary prints. He was the first art dealer to add illustrated posters to his inventory. To advertise the printmakers whose work he published, he would commission posters and mailers by his artists.
